# Put Cloud Hands on your home screen

There is nothing to download and no app store involved. A phone can save the site to its home screen as an icon of its own, and opening it from there runs the app full screen.

## iPhone and iPad

Use Safari — Apple only offers this reliably from its own browser.

1. **Open the site in Safari.** Open this site in Safari — this page will do.
2. **Tap Share.** Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow coming out of the top. On an iPhone it is at the bottom of the screen, on an iPad at the top right.
3. **Choose Add to Home Screen.** Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen. It sits below the row of sharing apps, so you will probably have to scroll past AirDrop and Messages to reach it.
4. **Confirm the name.** Give it a name — Cloud Hands is filled in already — and tap Add.
5. **Open it from the home screen.** The icon appears on your home screen. Open it from there rather than from Safari and it runs full screen.

## Android, Mac, Windows and Linux

Chrome usually offers a one-tap install; if it has not, the same thing is in the browser menu. The full per-platform instructions are on the page itself: https://tai-chi.app/install

## What it does not do

It does not work offline — every class is a YouTube video, so a connection is still required. It sends no notifications. It does not sync: there is no account, and settings and practice history stay in that browser on that device.
